Aquatic Critters
Scuds

ScudScuds are tiny light-colored crustaceans of the amphipod group, which are flattened laterally, from side to side. They occur on the bottom of a variety of aquatic ecosystems or in the vegetation and swim on their sides. Scuds feed on dead plant and animal matter and are, therefore, scavengers.
